Ribbons won for Machine Quilting
- 2007 1st Place - Best in Show in Machine Quilting category at the Ilderton Fair, Ilderton, Ontario
- 2006 1st Place - Best in Show in Machine Quilting category at the Ilderton Fair, Ilderton, Ontario
- 2006 2nd Place - Reserve Best in Show in Machine Quilting category at the Ilderton Fair, Ilderton, Ontario
- 2004 2nd Place in the Track System Machine Quilting category at the International Plowing Match Quilt Show in Attwood, Ontario
- Various 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in many of the categories at past Ilderton Fairs

Volunteering
Kristyn has been a member of Canadian Machine Quilters Association since 2001. CMQA is an organization of Canadian Long Arm Machine Quilters. In 2002 Kristyn was the Door Prize Coordinator for the annual New Millennium Quilt show in Waterloo Ontario. In 2003 Kristyn held the position of Secretary on the Executive and then in 2004 became the President of CMQA for one year. Kristyn won the President's Award in 2003 for the hardest working volunteer of the Quilt Show and in 2004 Kristyn won the Founder's Award for the hardest working volunteer for the entire year.
Kristyn volunteers her time by machine quilting many quilts for various charities. For years she has been supporting The Quilt- A Breast Cancer Support Project. In 2005 a quilt Kristyn machine quilted was featured on the promotional poster and again in 2007 her quilting was featured as the background on the promotional poster.
Kristyn has also quilted quilts for the following organizations and charities:
- Quilts of Valor
- May Court
- Habitat for Humanity
- Injured Candian Armed Forces Soldiers
- Make a Wish Foundation
- Oxbow Home and School
- Local Minor Hockey Associations
- Hope's Garden
- Local Quilt Guilds, which make quilts and donate them to charities of their choice
